What does the itovi scanner do?
The itovi scanner reads your body's galvanic skin response to help you find the essential oils and supplements your body responds to most. Through the free iTOVi app, each reading becomes a personalized report you can email or text. It's a tool for awareness and education.
How long does a scan take?
Less than 90 seconds. You simply hold the scanner while the reading sends to the iTOVi app over Bluetooth.
How do I hold the scanner?
Use two hands — place one palm around the large sensor and touch the other sensor to your other palm. That's the correct grip for an accurate reading.
Do I buy the scanner or subscribe?
Both. You purchase the scanner, and active scanning uses a plan — choose Monthly Access or Lifetime Access, and switch anytime by contacting support. The Personal Plan lets you keep up to 4 contacts plus yourself.
What's the warranty?
Your scanner is covered against manufacturer defects for one year. You can add extended coverage — accidental damage, theft, and malfunction with free replacement — for $29.99 within the first 30 days of purchase ($99 after).
Is an itovi scan a medical diagnosis?
No. iTOVi is a wellness tool for awareness and education. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not a medical device.
What is the itovi face scanner?
It uses your phone camera to read wellness signals — estimated heart rate, breathing rate, a stress index, and more — from a quick 30-second facial scan. No hardware or wearables needed.
What does it measure?

Do I need any special equipment?
No. It works right from your phone or tablet camera through the free iTOVi app. Good lighting and sitting still improve the reading.
Is my face image stored?
No. There is zero facial recognition and your face is never saved — the scan is processed on your device and the results are de-identified.
How is it different from the itovi scanner?
The handheld itovi scanner gives an in-the-moment galvanic skin response reading; the face scanner reads camera-based wellness signals and focuses on patterns over time. They complement each other.
Is the face scan medical or diagnostic?
No. It's for general wellness and educational purposes only. It's a beta experience that keeps improving over time.
What does the iTOVi DNA kit tell me?
It reveals the genetic wellness traits written into your DNA — around 300 markers across areas like nutrition and fitness — so you can build a wellness plan based on who you are.
How does it work?
Order the kit and we'll ship it to you. Collect your sample with the included noninvasive cheek swabs, then mail it back. Our lab sequences your DNA, identifies your traits, and then securely destroys the sample.
How long does it take?
Typical turnaround is about 30–40 days from start to finish.
Do I keep access to my reports?
Yes — you get lifetime access to all your DNA reports in the iTOVi app.
What reports are available?
The kit comes with the Balance Report, and you can add Nutrition, Fitness, and Beauty reports.
Is the DNA test medical or diagnostic?
No. It's a wellness and education tool, not a medical or diagnostic test.
What does the itovi sleep ring measure?
Worn on your finger overnight, it captures your breathing and apnea events (AHI), blood oxygen, heart rate, and sleep stages — then a licensed sleep clinician reviews the results.
Is it a real sleep test?
Yes. The itovi sleep ring is powered by PranaQ's TipTraQ, an FDA 510(k)-cleared home sleep apnea test, prescribed and reviewed by a sleep clinician.
How many nights do I wear it?
Anywhere from one to seven nights, as prescribed. More nights give a clearer picture of your sleep and breathing.
